This came from a friend of Marsha's, Kathleen Myers: Marsha was my best friend all through grade school in Sioux Falls, SD. She moved to Brookfield when we were in 7th grade. For several summers in a row, I would take the bus to Marsha's and stay there for a week. Then we would take the bus back to Sioux Falls, and Marsha would stay at my house for a week. We lost touch with each other back in the 70's. She found me somehow a few years ago and told me that she was battling cancer. I feel an empty spot in my heart when I learned she had died.
