Jack was the proprietor of "Olde Toll Road Village' in Brookfield and Mequon; a member of Crime Stoppers of Elm Grove, SCCA, sports car enthusiast, and pilot. He was a parent volunteer for University Lake School and a man devoted to his friends. He was the loving husband of Sandra G., and active dad to Caroline and Austin. Many friends and family filled the Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Brookfield for his funeral service. Jack died on September 16, 1993.

Sat with Jack on the bus many of the years to BCHS. He did me a few favors through the years. Occasionally I would catch up with him at Verbricks in Elm Grove after a softball game
